Once the Wayland Men’s softball league started in 2014, the town started getting much smaller. As part of that we started pulling together a number of fun adult social events and activities. Poker nights are a regular have become a regular event along with a new Spring and Fall tradition with paintball.
We have started a nice little tradition of a fun “guys” poker night among the Wayland Dads. Don’t be fooled however, that fun includes a health mix of competition and drama. Typically we start with BBQ, drinks and ultimately kickoff a series of Texas hold’em games. Sign-up for the Wayland Dads newsletter and we will make sure you get the dates and RSVP information on the next Poker night. firstname.lastname@example.org
Who knew that Wayland Dads could hold their own on the paintball field. In May a group of 20+ guys went and unleashed our inner Rambo and took part in a spirited paintball exercise. What a fantastic blast had by all. Neither the 90’ temperatures or New Hampshire militia could hold back the Wayland Dads.
We are planning on a Fall 2015 Paintball outing. Sign-up for the Wayland Dads newsletter and we will make sure you get the dates and RSVP information on the next outing. email@example.com
As winter approaches it’s time to start thinking about winter ski activities. Last year we had out inaugural Wayland Dads ski trip up to Mt Sunapee. This year we plan to have more trips for dads only and then more family oriented trips. Sign-up for the Wayland Dads newsletter and we will make sure you get the dates and RSVP information on the next ski trip. Interested? firstname.lastname@example.org
Wayland Dads is always looking for fun activities around the metro Boston area. Last year we rented a box at a Celtics game and has a BLAST. Folks have suggested the Bruins next or even F-1 racing. We have a wonderfully motivated group of guys eager to have fun. If you have an idea or want to lead an effort, please drop us a line – email@example.com
